Me and Origami

 

My name is Makiko. I am from Japan, children call me "Kiko".

I'm an Ofsted registered Childminder and home carer (babysitter) since 2014 and run Origami childminding.

At Origami childminding, I'm passionate about making progress in individual children's development. I emphasis emotional and physical development for the babies to enable transition when their parent goes back to work. I give my best to support a great relationship with each child and parents/carer for children to progress further.

 

I provide a safe and warm home setting for all children where they can explore, learn through playing and develop.

Children at Origami start with "Hello" song in the morning that enables them to learn to say hello and names at Origami from a very young age.

I do take Nature walk as much as possible. I find taking children out for fresh air makes better in behavior, eating and sleeping which means that children having good day and developing well.
